I am rated as a highly effective, Florida certified educator that has been working as an English and Social Studies teacher at Jensen Beach High School since 2015. I have taught 9th-12th grade and am certified to teach both English 6-12 and Social Science 6-12. I have taught English courses, Dual Enrollment courses, AP Seminar, and World History.

I have participated in various professional development courses including student engagement structures in the classroom. In addition, I have led several professional developments on topics, such as getting students to engage in collegiate-level discussions, using Padlet and other digital tools in the classroom, giving effective feedback, and culturally relevant teaching.
